| SUMMARY Answers incoming calls in a prompt and courteous manner and performs administrative duties and outbound calls and home visits as required. Responsible for residential new account sales within designated sales territory. Also promotes and sells add-on products and services to new and existing customer base. Must be available to work various shifts, including nights and weekends. Overtime required on an as-needed basis. Good interpersonal skills required for both internal and external customers. Dependability, punctuality and exceptional attendance are required. |

| ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS | ||||||||
| » Answers incoming phone calls in a timely fashion using appropriate phone etiquette as determined by Griffith Energy Services. » Treats all internal and external customers with courtesy and respect. » Establishes first contact with potential customers over the phone to present Griffith Energy's products and services while educating them on what we offer and working to establish long- term relationships. » Sets up new accounts over the phone or in person and completes all required new account paperwork and documentation. » Acquires information pertinent to setting up a new account, fills out all necessary paperwork needed to finalize the sale using Electronic Credit Application (and Eport) and distributes to appropriate people for action. » Expedites the delivery and service process to assure customer satisfaction. Handles the sale from start to finish. Gives a copy of the paperwork to Energy Consultant for further action. » Responsible for handling customer inquiries and/or problems as needed as well as customer retention issues. Works as a team with fellow Energy Consultants and Inside Sales Support to increase number of profitable new accounts and collaboratively create ways to exceed customer expectations. » Participates in on-going sales training to increase overall success in closing sales. Maintains ACT! Contact Tracking Database on a daily basis and strives to maximize overall performance by utilizing its many contact tracking features. Attends periodic sales meetings, training seminars, corporate events, trade shows and fairs as requested by management. » Routinely contacts existing customer base to upgrade or change status on accounts, i.e., Will Call to Automatic conversions, saving accounts, adding budgets or service contracts, selling indoor air quality, providing equipment leads, etc. » Masters Energy and Pegasus software to perform daily tasks as assigned by supervisor. » Works effectively with Service and Oil Dispatch Departments to ensure overall customer satisfaction. |

| OTHER DUTIES | ||||||||
| » Steadily increases knowledge of all computer equipment and ACT! and Microsoft Office software. » Must be willing to learn the necessary skills on and off normal business hours to keep up with the demands of the job. » Responsible for normal maintenance and care of all equipment provided by Griffith Energy Services, Inc. » Contacts IT Dept. upon equipment failure or other relevant issues. » Responsible for individual mailings as needed for sales efforts. » Mails letters and marketing materials as requested by prospects. » Puts together marketing brochures for Realtor Presentations. » Sends Welcome Packet to new customers. » Works overtime as needed during peak heating season. » Adheres to all Griffith Energy Services, Inc. employment policies and regulations. » Realizes that the job description is subject to change at any time by management. |
