The common answer from customers on the type of heating system in their home is "Honeywell" the name on their thermostat. This part of your heating system can help you save on your energy bill each month.

The typical home thermostat looks like the one below and is a good basic thermostat for home use.

You can save as much as 10% if you use an automatic setback thermostat or programmable thermostat for 8 hours per day. You can select the temperature and times for the energy savings and may vary the settings for each day of the week. This is a better thermostat allowing you to program both heat and cooling with digital readout of your temperatures.

For different temperature settings on each day of the week the T8000 gives you more flexibility and could save additional money on your home energy consumption.
