Energy Conservation

Where does your energy go?

A typical family spends about half of its home energy dollars on heating and cooling alone. Unfortunately, a lot of those dollars can be wasted because conditioned air escapes outside. It squeezes through wall switches and electrical outlets, wriggles its way through pipe openings and slips through cracks around windows and doors. One-third of your heated or cooled air disappears through openings in ceilings, walls and floors. Here's the percentage breakdown on energy loss.

How you use energy in your home?

While every household uses energy for different purposes, heating and cooling consumes about half of the energy expenses in a typical home.
