TankSure® Program

Griffith Energy is now providing a valuable and unique service for 275 gallon indoor and above-ground oil storage tanks called the TankSure® Program. We can now monitor and test your above-ground (or basement) fuel storage tank with our new ultrasonic testing equipment and tank analysis software.

This is a first in our Industry and qualifying tanks for customers that join the TankSure® Program will receive a $1,000 credit toward tank replacement as well as on-going monitoring and analysis every year the customer remains in the Program.

Heating oil tanks typically corrode from the inside out. Your tank may look perfectly fine, but it could be wearing excessively thin. The testing (similar to a medical ultrasound) will allow us to give you a sense of security or plenty of advance warning that a problem is on the horizon.

Ultrasonic Inspection

• Trained service technicians use ultrasonic equipment to test the thickness of your tank
• Ultrasonic equipment detects the level of corrosion occurring inside the tank.

Scientific Analysis & Monitoring

• The tank thickness measurements, physical characteristics, and surrounding environment will be analyzed with our state-of-the-art Tank Profiling Software.
• Tank information is analyzed for proactive replacement of individual tanks when they fall below the standard index.

Corrosion Protection Agent

• Proactively fights tank deterioration.
• Extends the lifespan of the tank.
• Works similar to zinc protection used in water heaters and the marine industry.

While we cannot guarantee the prevention of a leak or other failure of your tank, we are providing this service with the hope that by testing and monitoring, we can offer a long term proactive tank replacement program for our customers.
